We’ve already played over 60 rooms, and at NoWayOut we did both School of Magic and The Nun. Both are elaborately designed and tell the story in a way that pulls you in right away. There were two of us and we played School of Magic. The puzzles started out easy and got trickier later; the set was beautiful, rich in detail, and worth every euro. The game master explained everything calmly, gave perfectly timed help, and let us run a few minutes over at the end. The only downside: the intercom announcements were hard to understand.

In itself, the game would be decent, but we encountered two technical problems. We had to leave the game for about five minutes, one mechanism couldn’t be fixed, and later an audio puzzle played the wrong, partly overlapping clues. What a ride! The actress had an incredible presence; the sound and lighting pulled me in completely. The puzzles were logical and very solvable, yet never trivial. There were four of us and we needed two hints—just the right amount.

We treated ourselves to The Unknown and it was insane. The two of us were so scared that we asked them to call off the actor in the first room; otherwise it would have been too much. Everything is perfectly done and unbelievably scary, the team is super lovely — it took us hours to calm down.

We played Unknown and The Nun and can warmly recommend both. You’re immersed in the story from the very first second; the effects and sets are lovingly executed, sound and lighting are perfectly coordinated, and both feature a strong showdown. Great team, multilingual, and for me among the top rooms Europe-wide.

Very exciting experience at NoWayOut with The Nun. The live actress really amped up the adrenaline, and the just-under-an-hour flew by. Some puzzles were on the easier side, and toward the end we got quite a bit of help because we were dawdling. Still absolutely recommended, especially with friends.

Great family experience, we even added a second room on the same day. The puzzles are clever and very doable, and the rooms are appropriately and lovingly designed to match the theme.

I’ve been to many escape rooms, but this one blew me away. The team is friendly, the puzzles aren’t too difficult, and it’s the story and atmosphere that really make it. Props are top-notch, and the acting is the crowning touch — a must for horror fans.
